1.5D Elbow 1.5 times the nominal pipe diameter is taken as the radius of the centerline of an elbow. Through this particular design, there will be an easier re-direction of the flow direction and will minimise on loss of pressure and turbulence in the pipe work. The small bend radius is perfect with compact piping set ups without a compromise of the performance. The elbows are sized between 1/2″ NB-48″ NB, with such schedule numbers as SCH 10, SOSCH XXS, and so on which makes them applicable to both low and high-pressure systems.
